HazelOak is a coven with both Gardnerian and Alexandrian lineage and it is located in Kitchener-Waterloo. Occasionally, they offer introductory classes which could lead to a further year-long study of Wicca from a British Traditional perspective. Classes are given free of charge. Lindenwood coven is a traditional Wiccan coven in the Waterloo region, with dual lineage (Gardnerian and Alexandrian). The coven leaders are actively involved in the local Pagan community (KW Pagans) and they offer classes to the public from time to time. The classes include a year long “Wicca 101” course for students wishing to learn more about both eclectic and traditional (initiatory) Wicca. Students who have completed this course successfully may ask for further training, which may lead to coven membership. They do not charge for training. They believe it is important to create a safe space for learning and practice, for people of all backgrounds and abilities. They honour the living tradition which they are part of, and are open to serious students interested in (and not afraid of) the work involved to continue learning and growing.
